Yoga trekking to Mardi Himal is customized trekking program for Yoga Lover who would like to have an Experience of Yoga at Himalayas. Mardi Himal Trek is one of a newly opened trek in Annapurna regions offers you breathtaking closed views of Annapurna ranges including Mt. Fishtail and Mt Annapurna. Our team of friendly Guides and Porter including experience Foreign Yoga Teacher.
We wanted to provide fresh trail with tranquil natural attractions to its valued clients. Therefore, Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek evolved. This is uniquely designed Yoga trekking which offers wilderness Forest camps to Lake City Pokhara’s clamor.
Optional: After the Trek you have the option to stay with the rest of the team, on your own expense, to spend an amazing opening for the New Year 2019, in Pokhara Nepal (not included in the package)

Details Itinerary
Day 01 (18th Dec 2018): Arrival in Kathmandu
• You will be met by Scenic Nepal Treks representative at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to our beautiful Hotel
• Program briefing will be given this evening around 3pm.
• Overnight at Hotel

Day 02(19th Dec 2018): Drive to Pokhara (200km) 6/7 hrs
• Breakfast at Your Hotel
• Early Morning from Kathmandu, we drive to Pokhara by Private bus.
• Evening free yourself around Pokhara, check different areas around as well as the nice restaurants, and shops.
• Overnight at Hotel

Day 03(20th Dec 2018): Drive to Phedi and trek to Australian camp (1600m)
(2/3 hrs walk)
• Morning easy, stretching Yoga at Hotel to prepare you for the beautiful walking around the trek.
• Breakfast
• Drive to Phedi about 30 mins and hike up to Australian camp. You will be walking through beautiful Mountain Village of Dhampus. The area is inhabited by Brahmins, Chetris and few Gurungs. Crossing the dirt road a couple of times and stone staircases makes the trail more adventuring.
• Australian camp offers you breathtaking views of Himalayas including Mt Fishtail.
• Overnight at Local Tea house

Day 04(21th Dec 2018): Australian Camp to Forest Camp (2480m) 3/4 hrs
• Morning Easy Yoga with Beautiful Mountains Views
• Breakfast at Your Hotel
• We traverse through green lush forests, beautiful village of Pothana and grassy meadows hamlet of Australian Camp. We will stay overnight in Forest Camp.You will be astounded by the dense forests of hemlock, oak, maple, pine and rhododendron.
• Overnight at Local tea house

Day 05(22th Dec 2018): Forest Camp to Low camp (3150m) 4/5 hrs
• Morning easy Yoga, mostly respirations (prayamas) techniques and meditation to prepare you for our walks.
• Breakfast at Hotel
• We will walk for a while in the jungle. The trail is steep in the beginning but becomes comfortable in later part of today’s trekking. The view of Mt. Machhapuchhre is considered as best from this place. If you are in awe of taking pictures of Machhapuchhre then Low Camp is the best place to click such pictures.
• Overnight at Hotel

Day 06(23th Dec 2018): Low Camp to High Camp (4100m) 5 hrs
• Morning: Easy Yoga
• Breakfast at Hotel
• Today’s journey is completely uphill walking. On the way in our lucky day we can see Lophophorous (Danfe-national bird of Nepal), Pheasant, Monal etc. We will spend the night in High Camp. You will love this place because you will be spending the night with lofty Himalayan mountain peaks on the backdrop.

Day 07(24th Dec 2018): Rest/exploration day at High camp
• Morning Easy Yoga
• Breakfast
• Today we have free day/ Rest day at High Camp. Explore around and Captures breathtaking very closed views of peaks over 6000 m including Mt. Annapurna and Fishtail.
• Overnight at Local Teahouse

Day 08(25th Dec 2018): High Camp to Landruk Village (1560m) 5/6 hrs
• Morning Easy Yoga that will allow you to descend in a more relaxing way.
• Breakfast at Hotel
• We will descend to Landruk Village adjacent to model Gurung Village of Ghandruk. This village is mainly habituated by Magars and Ghale people. Apart from tourism these people are into British Gurkha Army as well.
Enjoy to the fullest because today is the last day of our trekking. You can enjoy with the crew members and locals too.

Day 09(26th Dec 2018): Trek down to Nayapul (3/4 hrs )and drive back to Pokhara 2/3 hrs
• Morning Easy Yoga and meditation for concentration.
• Breakfast at Your Hotel
• Trek down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara about 2 hrs, driving through countryside of Pokhara city and Local villages
• Transfer to you Hotel in Pokhara/ rest of the time free yourself.
• Overnight at Hotel

Day 10(27th Dec 2018): Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, (200km)6/7 hrs
• Morning Easy Yoga and stretching’s and mantra chanting to get back to KTM in a relaxing way.

• Later drive back to Kathmandu about 6/7 hrs by Private Bus
• By this Evening, we will offer you Nepali Cultural Dinner
• Overnight at Hotel

Day 11(28th Dec 2018): Final Departure

Accommodations
We will be staying at Good hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara. In the Mountain, you will have basic Tea house during the trek. All accommodations are on twin – shared basis. Scenic Nepal Treks will arrange rooms with attached washrooms; however, tea houses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities.
Meals
All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. There will also be welcome or farewell Nepali Cultural dinners for guests. While on trek, we have breakfast and dinner in the tea-houses/lodges we spend the night and lunch on our way to the next destination. Nepalese, Tibetan, the more common continental and Indian cuisines are common choices in the menu.
Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
Mardi Himal Trek is a easy trek. Travelers who can walk up to 4/5 hours a day on an uphill and downhill trail will find this trek fulfilling. You do not need to have special Training to do this trek.
