We are hiring! We seek kitesurfing instructors for the up-coming season
Quest Kiteboarding is an IKO Affiliated Kite Centre, based in Diani Beach, on the South Coast of Kenya, East Africa.
We are seeking certified IKO kitesurfing instructors for the upcoming ‘’kaskazi’’ North-East trade wind season.
The season runs from 15th December 2019 until the 15th of March 2020.
Professional, mature IKO Instructors who hold a valid IKO Level 1 or above diploma and have at least 1 season of teaching experience under their belt.
Multi – Language: Polish and German speaking Instructors.
Applicants should love nature, share a passion for water sports, respond well to working within a team environment as well as always strive towards providing excellent customer care and attention when teaching or coaching.
*An office role is available as well and would suit a travelling couple both looking for seasonal work*
During our summer we experience 18 – 22 knots daily as a north easterly cross or cross-onshore trade wind. The Water temp ranges from 32 – 35 degrees.
Our teaching location has a fringing reef roughly 900 metres offshore which protects the shoreline and forms a lagoon on the inside which is perfect for teaching, free riding and foiling.
General riding conditions range from flat on the low tide to bump and chop as it rises and some small shore break on the higher tides.
The wind is steady and will generally start to build by 10.30-11.00am in the morning each day.
We offer a commission- based salary + work permits for the season.
Basic weekly living allowance.
Free accommodation inclusive of daily house clean + laundry.
Transport to the centre and discounted beach bar meals at the Diani Sea Lodge for the duration of the season.
