Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) is seeking an individual to join our event marketing and sales team as a Field Marketing & Sales Representative. This is a full-time, base pay + commission position with 80% travel (estimated to be 42 weeks of the year). This events team member will travel solo by company vehicle throughout the lower 48 states representing ENO at indoor and outdoor festivals, trade shows, and events. They are responsible for driving brand awareness and sales through on-site, face-to-face interaction with consumers. This employee may need to work up to 4 marketing events each year (non-sales) which is factored into the base pay. This role would be suitable for an experienced, driven, and self-motivated sales representative with prior successful sales and event experience. The tentative start date for this position is Friday, August 13, with in-office training August 13 and 16; and on-site event training August 17-24 and August 31-September 6. The 2021 events schedule will be released to qualified applicants prior to confirming employment. This position reports directly to the Lead Field Marketing & Sales Representative.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manage setup, breakdown, and coverage of event/vending space autonomously
Build and manage the visual merchandising of event space following brand guidelines
Interact professionally and effectively with new and existing customers at a variety of events and activations
Process customer orders from introduction to the product through sale; previous experience with Square POS is a plus
Compile and submit weekly sales and marketing reports
Document and share lead/customer intelligence with appropriate teams
Manage cash, budget, inventory, and supplies in a constantly changing work environment and throughout extended event periods
Collect and report customer product feedback to supervisor and product team
Surpass targeted sales goals
Develop a high level of product knowledge and be able to demonstrate uses
Respond to and addresses customer’s inquiries and/or complaints
Maintain company vehicle, track maintenance, and report any issues to supervisor
Assist with larger activations at events including but not limited to setup, maintenance, and breakdown
Manage budget and successfully track expenses
Assist at ENO headquarters as needed with customer service, warranty, warehouse, shipping, and inventory
Assist Event Manager with developing diverse event partnerships
Plan and execute marketing at partner locations and events
Foster and maintain positive relationships with all event and retailer staff and management
Perform these and other duties as assigned

Live in or relocate to Asheville, NC region
Experience in sales and customer service
Clean driving record
Ability to travel in company Sprinter van on extended periods ranging from 3 weeks to 2 months consistently throughout the year (including nights and weekends)
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather
Open availability throughout the year, especially Spring, Summer, and Fall months
Solution-oriented and creative problem solver
Ability to take initiative and multi-task with minimal supervision
Product-use educator and customer-centric conversationalist
Highly organized with the ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and environments
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to exercise discretion and independent decision-making
Strong time managing and stress management skills
Must be comfortable camping outdoors for up to 7 days at a time
Nice to Have:

Experience with social media content creation
Photography or videography skills
A love for the outdoors, travel, camping, music, and adventure
Special Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb and balance. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: The employee works in a variety of weather conditions including but not limited to excessive heat, cold, wet and dry conditions. The employee works a wide range of hours both driving and at event. Employment is contingent on clean background and driver’s license check post offer, pre-employment.
